Professional Title Agency began serving Volusia and Flagler Counties in 1983, and remains the oldest family owned title agency in the Daytona Beach area. TICOR Title Insurance Company is our exclusive underwriter, one of the most securely established and rapidly expanding title insurance companies in the nation. We provide a range of services in connection with the sale, purchase, exchange and refinance of real property throughout the state of Florida.

Our issuance of title insurance policies provides secure coverage for an Owner's or Lender's investment in the property. Our escrow closing department acts as a neutral third party in obtaining the necessary signed documents and computing, collecting and disbursing the required funds to complete the sale or refinance of property.

Our Daytona Beach office is located at the Northeast corner of the instersection of US1 and Bellevue Avenue. To better serve our Northern customers, we have an office in Palm Coast located in the Belle Terre Professional Center on the North East corner of Palm Coast Parkway and Belle Terre. For our South Volusia customers, we have a downtown New Smyrna Beach office located on Canal Street.

Professional Title Agency, Inc. is licensed with the State of Florida and bonded. The company is approved with all major lenders, closing FHA, VA, conventional, construction, assumptions, refinancing and second mortgage loan transactions. We also service many commercial and residential contractors as well as real estate agencies and mortgage brokers. Our contractor services include closing of acquisition & development, construction and permanent loans with the buyer. Over the years, Professional Title has closed a variety of real estate transactions, from simple cash settlements to the sale and transfer of large commercial properties.

Reid B. Hughes, Jr. is the President of Professional Title and is based in the New Smyrna Office. His sister, Cyndi Hughes Parker, is the Vice-President and Title Examiner and is based in the Port Orange office.  We believe that the key to providing excellent service is having a superior staff. The responses we receive from our customers continually confirms this belief. Many of our closers are individually licensed and bonded with the State of Florida and, together, comprise over 200 combined years of closing experience in each office.  The company is actively involved with the Florida Association of Mortgage Brokers, the Daytona and New Smyrna Area Board of Realtors, Home Builders Association, and local area Chambers of Commerce.
